Rueda is appealing the decision and has requested a hearing to clear his name, the Washington Post is already reporting.

The problem wasn’t exclusively with all the postcards themselves, but Rueda, according to belittled his pupils to get some of their reactions.

“He said Mr. Mateo told the course, ‘There’s nothing wrong with female nipples. You guys need to grow up and be mature about that,'” Venessa Rose Pixton told the Herald Journal.

Rueda denied making that statement, and said he told his pupils that context is important and that art sometimes portrays pictures which are awkward to the viewer.

“I’d say that if you develop, you’re going to find yourselves going to museums or to areas where unavoidably there is going to be more nudity,” Rueda said, based on TheHerald Journal.

Jensen told Fox13 the scenario has been blown out of proportion and her daughter is mad that her art instructor is in trouble.

Blown out of proportion is perfect. Even had Rueda said what Pixton alleges, it seems reasonable to fire him. It’s possible school administrators fired Rueda in an effort to avert the controversy of employing a teacher accused of revealing his pupils “pornography.”

If that was the plan, it obviously backfired.

It’s not much comfort to know that there were no charges filed from Rueda. The police should not have been predicted in the first place. What kind of world do we live in when classical paintings containing nude figures are interpreted as pornography?

Amsterdam Jewish school only reported teacher suspected of sexually abusing students under pressure from Minister

In 2012 the Jewish Cheider School at Amsterdam waited three weeks to report that instructor Ephraim S. was suspected of sexually assaulting students, and only did so under pressure from Minister Marja van Bijsterveldt of Education, the Telegraaf reports based on internal records from the faculty and discussions with former teachers.

The faculty wanted to handle this case through internal Jewish justice, according to the newspaper. Because of this barrier, the accused instructor was able to escape to Israel until the authorities could arrest him. He was eventually extradited to the Netherlands at 2016. The trail against him begins on Wednesday. Ephraim S. is accused of sexually assaulting or raping five kids.  

The records in the newspaper’s possession show that senior president of the faculty, rabbi Jacobs, stalled in reporting S. to the authorities even months following the Education Inspectorate asked the faculty to collect testimony from kids, teachers and parents. “Rabbi Jacobs indicates that he is not convinced of a fair suspicion and consequently does not wish to file a report”, the Telegraaf quotations from minutes of the faculty. “The confidential inspector states which we refuse to report. Rabbi Jacobs thinks the phrase ‘refuse’ is unlucky. The inspector maintains that this is the proper word.”

The school forced parents to not report the teacher to the authorities. According to the newspaper, a preparatory conversation education says: “One in five accounts is false. Discuss this with parents. If authorities discover that this, parents/children will be prosecuted – courtroom -penalties.” Along with a preparatory note for a dialog with one affected parent that was also a teacher at the school: “invite for a discussion – labour law – point out bills – slander and defamation”. And : “discuss that if it’s not accurate, prosecution would follow.”

According to the Telegraaf, the papers also show that the school leaders watched camera footage of the sexual attack. This footage can be discovered.  

The inspector eventually switched to the Minister of Education to pressure the faculty into reporting Ephraim S. to the authorities. In October 2012, three weeks following the Inspectorate first asked for a report, the school eventually filed a police declaration. “Only because the confidential inspector believes that there is a legal duty to do this”, Rabbi Jacobs composed, ” the Telegraaf reports.

Former Inderkum High School Teacher Found Guilty of Sexual Relationships with Students

SACRAMENTO — Former Inderkum High School teacher Byron Wallace  has been convicted Tuesday in link to sexual relationships with 2 pupils.

A jury found him guilty on all 10 counts he faced including sex acts with someone under the age of 18, communication with a minor with the intent to commit a sexual action, molesting a child under the age of 18, unlawful sex with a minor and dissuading a witness.

Wallace faces roughly 8 decades and 4 months.

He was a favorite math teacher who ran the Christians in Action club as well as the HOPE program.

Police say, the very first victim  fulfilled Wallace when she was a pupil in his geometry course for a freshman and also got to know him over the years from math classes and as a member of the Christians at Actions club.

When she became a senior the victim and the Wallace began exchanging flirtatious text messages and eventually began a physically intimate relationship.

Over the duration of their dating the victim allegedly bought Wallace shoes, watches and belts amounting to over $3,500.

Authorities also say Wallace sent nude photos of himself to victims.

The case began after a parent became aware of nude photos sent between Wallace and the pupil.

On October 23, 2015, Wallace was arrested and on the 27th he was charged with additional sexual assault fees after a second victim came forward.

The second victim reported gender acts involving the teacher that occurred when she was a pupil at Inderkum High School.

Both pupils were minors at the time of these incidents that are reported.

In June 2016, ” Wallace spoke out regarding the charges brought from him.

He’ll be sentenced on December 15.

Teacher Asked High School Students To Write A Suicide Note While Studying Shakespeare, Parents Protest

According to the report, the children weren’t comfortable with the college project. In all, more than 60 students wrote a suicide watch for your own project. The instructor has since apologized, claiming she did not realize it was in bad taste.

One mother talked out about the class project and the way it changed her daughter. She explained that her daughter had had a buddy who’ve killed themselves, so composing the suicide note was challenging for her. She continued saying that she doesn’t understand the way the teacher believed it’d be a great idea to force high school students to write a suicide note.

Another parent stated that the instructor might need to return to training because the faculty job wasn’t age- appropriate.

The faculty job ended following a group of student and parents protested before the pupil faculty in South East London. At least 13 students participated in the demonstration.

“I can’t imagine why a place of schooling would do something so insensitive, especially as youth and adolescent depression and anxiety is at an all-time high at the moment.”

The other parent added that it’s perfectly suitable for the students to learn about Shakespeare plays, however also writing a suicide note moved too far.

In a time that adolescent depression and anxiety is at an all-time high, this college job could be considered insensitive.

The college instructor, Carolyn Roberts, has apologized to the mission and promised the parents of this school which the project would not be handed out again.

California High School Teacher Alleges Years of Sexual Harassment By Pupils

Since the day Donald Trump was elected president, liberals across the nation have been in a continued collapse. It’s gotten so bad, even with a conservative opinion is enough to get you branded a neo-Nazi. To liberals, any service for Trump is evidence of racism.

In the most recent instance of this hysteria, a Georgia high school teacher was caught on expelling two students from her class for sporting pro-Trump t-shirts. During the episode, the teacher may be heard saying   “Just like you can’t put on a swastika to school, you can’t wear ‘Make America Great Again’ like this.” Clearly, the consequence being that Trump’s campaign slogan is no different than Nazism.

The video shortly went viral, putting the school district directly in the spotlight. A couple of days after, the school is reacting to the controversy.

In the Blaze:

A Georgia school district cried Sunday  following  video footage comprising one of its teachers removing students from her class for sporting “Make America Great Again” T-shirts went viral.

Though a Change.org petition   calling for the instructor’s resignation circulated following news of the incident emerged in the press, the Cherokee School District  denied  to comment on any disciplinary action that may or might not have been  taken against the teacher in question.

In the announcement, the district admits the teachers actions were wrong, and guarantees training to avoid future events:

Cherokee County Schools spokeswoman Barbara Jacoby made a public apology  for its instructor’s behaviour and noticed that pro-Trump tops are not a breach of the district dress code.

Jacoby explained, “[The instructor’s] actions were wrong, since the ‘Make America Great Again’ tops worn by the students are not a breach of the school district dress code.”

“Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian V. Hightower is deeply worried that this incident occurred in one of our colleges,” Jacoby said. “It doesn’t reflect his expectation that all students be treated equally and respectfully by our employees.”

Jacoby also noticed that the pupils  wearing the T- tops were not   exposed to disciplinary action as a consequence of the choice in attire.

Further, the spokeswoman added that Hightower proposed district teachers to prevent sharing personal political views with their own students.

Although it isn’t known if the teacher could face disciplinary action, the announcement by the college is really a step in the ideal direction. Far too often, educators have been caught imposing their political perspectives students they’re supposed to be instructing. For once, a school district has acknowledged that the behavior was inappropriate. Here is to hoping more colleges follow exactly the exact same path.

Teacher Locks Herself and 19 Pupils in Closet as Crazed Gunman Raids School

It’s every parent’s worst nightmare their son or daughter might be at a dangerous — and potentially fatal — situation like a college shooting. More and more, but these tragic incidents continue to occur and threaten the lives of many.

The recent shooting Wednesday at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, reluctantly claimed the lives of 17 people, lots of whom barricaded themselves in classrooms to conceal from the gunman.

Nikolas Cruz, 19, made his way through hallway after hallway using his AR-15 gun, injuring those in his / her path. As they concealed, students texted their loved ones and submitted to social websites begging for support.

And though a few had lost their lives, those who made out it now utilizing social media once more not in a request for help, but to thank those that stored them through the harrowing time.

1 teacher, specifically, that’s being recognized as a fanatic is Language Arts instructor Melissa Falkowski.

Falkowski was together with her 19 students when the episode began. Acting quickly on instinct, she hid the students in a cupboard as the gunman roamed the classrooms and halls out.

“I was able to place 19 children in the cupboard with mepersonally,” Falkowski later said. “This is the worst nightmare that could occur to you.”

Now, however, her students have taken to societal websites to thank their teacher because of their bravery and calm attitude during the horrific event.

Dowd and other students mentioned the Florida educator kept them from getting panic attacks as they all wondered if the shot was going to come into the room and locate them.

Reports say that Falkowski initially huddled at the corner of the classroom with her students, but made the decision to proceed into the cupboard as an extra “barrier” of protection.

The group hid in the little room for nearly 30 minutes until a SWAT team arrived.

“I made the decision to transfer the children into the cupboard,” Falkowski said. “We’d training in a month ago and we spoke about these different situations and things to do. It was quite obvious that it was not a drill. I decided that [the cupboard] was just another layer between the active shooter.”

But at the close of the day, Falkowski — together with her students — confessed that there is no way to truly prepare somebody for the horrors of a busy shooting.

“We could not have been more ready for this circumstance, which is exactly what makes it very frustrating,” Falkowski said. “We did all that we were supposed to do. Broward County Schools has prepared us for this circumstance and to still have numerous casualties, at least for me, it is quite emotional.”

Henderson Middle School Teacher Arrested, Charged with Sexual Battery of Students

A mathematics teacher at Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School was arrested Friday and charged with 2 students’ aggravated sexual battery.

Jose Daniel Estrada, also a 36-year-old Clifton, Va., resident, has been put on administrative leave by school officials that the day that the very first accusation was created on Jan. 17. Students who had courses with Mr. Estrada suddenly had a new teacher, and rumors began sweeping the school, with a few pupils suggesting, or questioning if, he was fired.

Questions about why he was removed from the classroom circulated as well, with a few pupils suggesting he had slapped a woman but it is not obvious in the charges allege that behavior or something else. Documents that would detail the allegations against Mr. Estrada were unavailable in either the Arlington County or Falls Church courthouses Friday day, and he is, of course, innocent until proven guilty.

Mr. Estrada began his job with the Falls Church City colleges at July 2015. He’s being held at the Arlington County Jail.

After the 2 girls came with their allegations to school officials, the 2 incidents were reported to police and child protective services. Mr. Estrada was immediately removed from the classroom and put on paid leave. Officials said that the decision to place him instead of finishing him was created as a way to permit authorities to inquire into the situation.

“This action allowed the Falls Church City Public Schools to guarantee the protection of its pupils while also reserving ruling on the employee,” Schools Spokesman John Brett stated in a media release. “As a result, at the time of the arrest, the employee was not at the college, nor in contact with pupils.”

Together with his arrest, Mr. Estrada’s cover is currently being put in an escrow account pending the disposition of the case based on state law. The condition declines to prosecute him or if he is acquitted that cover will be received by him. The universities will keep the money when he is found guilty.

Texas high school teacher accused of recording students

Even a Carrollton, Texas, high school teacher was arrested for supposedly students.

George Edwin Thomas III was detained Thursday morning and charged with six counts of visual recording.

Carrollton authorities state the R.L. Turner High School teacher used hidden cameras to record female students that had been changing into their uniforms without them understanding throughout the 2015-2016 school year.

According to an arrest affidavit, ” Thomas’ girlfriend had suspected him of cheating.     So when a friend discovered a thumb drive that was random on the floor of this apartment the couple shared, the buddies watched it to locate pictures and grew curious.

According to a warrant, the criticism drive “featured multiple video records of teenage girls disrobing in a cupboard.” The report also states the thumb drive had “records that appeared to be in an educator’s desk with female students being called to the table”

Police say the camera has been set as a way to record under clothing.

When voluntarily questioned by Carrollton police detectives, ” the analysis says that Thomas “confessed he captured videos on his cell phone in class: however, the records were of actions for the students to see and find out.”

In a declaration, Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD said it placed Thomas on administrative leave and had been made conscious of the allegations.

Trudeau apologizes to excluded College students

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has “humbly” apologized for abuse and cultural losses at residential schools in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Speaking at a ceremony with former pupils from Goose Bay, Trudeau surfaced on behalf of the government of Canada and Canadians to former pupils at five universities in the state.

He says their parents were told their children could be cared for and could be safe.

Trudeau says we now know that they were victims of a system of “colonial thinking” that caused “deep injury.”

He says for too long Canada has let the pupils carry their weight alone and not having an apology has been an impediment to healing and reconciliation.

The former pupils at five universities in the state were left out of a compensation package and national apology from 2008 by former prime minister Stephen Harper.

His Conservative government argued that Ottawa did not oversee those schools, but the Liberal government offered last year to repay a class-action suit for $50 million.

However, Innu leaders have been boycotting today’s event and won’t take the apology, saying Innu children suffered in other places besides residential schools.

The leaders also have issued a statement saying they met with members of their neighborhood on Thursday and received a very clear message.

“The response from members of our community has been quite emotional, it is clear that Innu require apologies for at least the expertise from the International Grenfell Association conduct residential school dormitories,” Grand Chief Gregory Rich stated in the statement.

“I’m not satisfied that Canada knows yet what it has done to Innu and exactly what it is still doing.”

The statement says Innu children were mistreated in Roman Catholic schools and in the houses of teachers and missionaries from the communities of Sheshatshiu and Davis Inlet. It said that hasn’t been realized by authorities.

“The truth of what occurred to the previous generations of Innu hasn’t been fully recorded and we can not cope with this in bits and pieces,” explained Chief Eugene Hart of the Sheshatshiu Innu First Nation.
