PRESTON, Idaho (WSVN) — An Idaho school district is investigating after a science teacher was accused of feeding on a live, ill puppy to a snapping turtle in front of a group of pupils.

According to Fox 13, deputies said animal activist Jill Parrish filed a police report later another teacher told her Robert Crosland perpetrated the action.

“Allowing children to watch an innocent infant puppy scream as it is being fed to a creature. That is violence. That isn’t fine,” Parrish said. “There’s a whole lot of humane affairs you can do. Feeding a live animal to a reptile isn’t humanist and it is not okay.”

As stated by the school district, the episode occurred after classes were dismissed.

Reaction to the news has been mixed with a few while others feel it went too much.

Over 3,000 have signed an online petition confirming Crosland’s action while the other petition calling for his termination has accumulated over 100,000 signatures up to now.

I Am a Public School Instructor. Hands Off My Trans Pupils!

I am a school teacher.

I’ve a great deal of boys and girls in my courses.

Gender is not black and white. (Come to think about it, neither is race) Nobody is 100% male or female. Sex identity is more than that, although I mean, sure individuals have a predetermined array of components that are sexual.

We feel comfortable acting and identifying ways that are certain, and a few of those ways don’t necessarily line up with our sex designation if you consider it.

In movies, I cry my eyes out for instance. My daughter — who’s 8 — heard that the song “Boys Don’t Cry,” another day and stated, “Well this isn’t correct. Daddy yells all of the time.”

My wife loves basketball football and hockey. Me? I might take them or abandon them. If she wants me to watch the game she has to plead or guarantee or place out the perfect snacks.

Would not it make sense that others are not further to one side or other of their gender spectrum than a number of people? Would not it make sense that your individuality and your bodily components don’t match? Or perhaps you’re so in the middle it makes no sense to have a side?

I state I teach in a public school. We don’t push any kids away. Everyone is taken by us. And that usually means taking those kids that aren’t very simple to label.

I teach middle school. Transgenderism does not come up too often.

When toilet invoices were all the rage, a number of my 8th graders brought it up through our Socratic Seminar conversation 24, last year. And I let them talk about it.

These kids have rights. They are sweethearts. They are full of life and pleasure. We ought to respect their humanity.

And to those who say allowing them to use a toilet that contrasts with their individuality will lead to kids being molested, let me ask — has ever really happened?

The way I view it, the problem is people — some people — molesting others, regardless of what area they do in it.

Utah Elementary School Fires for Showing Students Art Teacher Classical Nudes

School district administrators to Lincoln Elementary School in Hyrum, Utah fired art instructor Mateo Rueda around December 8 to demonstrating his sixth and fifth grade pupils classical artwork postcards, some of which displayed bare figures.

On December 4, Rueda circulated his course about 100 of those 800 postcards featuring classical paintings from an educational set called “The Art Box” from the school library to get a shade research exercise. The cards contain works by Van Gogh, Claude Monet, along with Leonardo Da Vinci.

As stated by the , Rueda said he had been unaware that three or four featured nude figures, among these “Iris Tree” by Italian painter Amedeo Modigliani and “Odalisque” by 18th-century artist Francois Boucher.

“You will find several pictures which were somewhat weird, and most children were still laughing,” fifth grader Bella Jensen told Fox13.

Some pupils were fine with all the classical nude paintings, but a few others voiced distress and approached Rueda about the cards. He promptly removed them and discussed the matter with his or her students.

A few days after Rueda discovered some parents had complained to the school and a person called the police, alleging that his students pornography had been shown by the art instructor. Police predicted aff the investigation after prosecutors decided that the images weren’t pornographic.

Jensen told Fox13 the scenario has been blown out of proportion and her daughter is mad that her art instructor is in trouble.

Blown out of proportion is perfect. Even had Rueda said what Pixton alleges, it seems reasonable to fire him. It’s possible school administrators fired Rueda in an effort to avert the controversy of employing a teacher accused of revealing his pupils “pornography.”

If that was the plan, it obviously backfired.

It’s not much comfort to know that there were no charges filed from Rueda. The police should not have been predicted in the first place. What kind of world do we live in when classical paintings containing nude figures are interpreted as pornography?

Amsterdam Jewish school only reported teacher suspected of sexually abusing students under pressure from Minister

In 2012 the Jewish Cheider School at Amsterdam waited three weeks to report that instructor Ephraim S. was suspected of sexually assaulting students, and only did so under pressure from Minister Marja van Bijsterveldt of Education, the Telegraaf reports based on internal records from the faculty and discussions with former teachers.

The faculty wanted to handle this case through internal Jewish justice, according to the newspaper. Because of this barrier, the accused instructor was able to escape to Israel until the authorities could arrest him. He was eventually extradited to the Netherlands at 2016. The trail against him begins on Wednesday. Ephraim S. is accused of sexually assaulting or raping five kids.  

The records in the newspaper’s possession show that senior president of the faculty, rabbi Jacobs, stalled in reporting S. to the authorities even months following the Education Inspectorate asked the faculty to collect testimony from kids, teachers and parents. “Rabbi Jacobs indicates that he is not convinced of a fair suspicion and consequently does not wish to file a report”, the Telegraaf quotations from minutes of the faculty. “The confidential inspector states which we refuse to report. Rabbi Jacobs thinks the phrase ‘refuse’ is unlucky. The inspector maintains that this is the proper word.”

The school forced parents to not report the teacher to the authorities. According to the newspaper, a preparatory conversation education says: “One in five accounts is false. Discuss this with parents. If authorities discover that this, parents/children will be prosecuted – courtroom -penalties.” Along with a preparatory note for a dialog with one affected parent that was also a teacher at the school: “invite for a discussion – labour law – point out bills – slander and defamation”. And : “discuss that if it’s not accurate, prosecution would follow.”

According to the Telegraaf, the papers also show that the school leaders watched camera footage of the sexual attack. This footage can be discovered.  

The inspector eventually switched to the Minister of Education to pressure the faculty into reporting Ephraim S. to the authorities. Former Inderkum High School Teacher Found Guilty of Sexual Relationships with Students

SACRAMENTO — Former Inderkum High School teacher Byron Wallace  has been convicted Tuesday in link to sexual relationships with 2 pupils.

A jury found him guilty on all 10 counts he faced including sex acts with someone under the age of 18, communication with a minor with the intent to commit a sexual action, molesting a child under the age of 18, unlawful sex with a minor and dissuading a witness.

Both pupils were minors at the time of these incidents that are reported.

In June 2016, ” Wallace spoke out regarding the charges brought from him.

He’ll be sentenced on December 15.

The faculty job ended following a group of student and parents protested before the pupil faculty in South East London. At least 13 students participated in the demonstration.

“I can’t imagine why a place of schooling would do something so insensitive, especially as youth and adolescent depression and anxiety is at an all-time high at the moment.”

The other parent added that it’s perfectly suitable for the students to learn about Shakespeare plays, however also writing a suicide note moved too far.

In a time that adolescent depression and anxiety is at an all-time high, this college job could be considered insensitive.

The college instructor, Carolyn Roberts, has apologized to the mission and promised the parents of this school which the project would not be handed out again.

The faculty took swift action following a couple of parents complained about the mission and issued a sincere apology to the insensitive job. The faculty added that the instructor did not consider how the job could influence those pupils that had been personally affected by suicide.
